The Rise Care Home is a beautiful country house set in nine acres of landscaped gardens with wonderful views over the hills and woodlands of Dawlish in the South Devon countryside, conveniently located near to Torquay and Exeter.

The Grounds of The Rise
The grounds provide a setting of character and beauty for The Rise. There are landscaped areas, mature trees, rose and flower gardens, an ornamental pond with a fountain and fish and a large greenhouse. The grounds are also home to a variety of wild animals and birds giving added enjoyment and interest throughout the year.

Local Facilities
The seaside towns of Dawlish and Teignmouth have a wide range of facilities and amenities (doctors, hospitals, dentists, post office, library etc). The cathedral city of Exeter is ten miles to the north and the English Riviera resort of Torquay is ten miles to the south.

Dawlish is a short drive from the M5 motorway and is easily accessible by car. It is also well served by public transport. There is a mainline train station and a regular bus service to Exeter and Torquay.
